The folk festival is interested in mostly local talent that represents the folk diversity in the city of Albuquerque. Bands, musicians, dance groups, and arts and crafters, and story tellers who are willing to present for free, and who's musical style fits the mission and style of the folk festival, are encouraged to contact co-directors Erika Gerety and Gary Libman at director@abqfolkfest.org.
Professional performing artists interested in being considered for a main-stage performance at a future Albuquerque Folk Festival may e-mail Linda Bolton at performers@abqfolkfest.org. Main stage is booked for this year. Contact us between October through December if you are interested in participating in next year's festival. Please read our performer selection process for more information on performing at the festival.
